Misconfiguration alert! We made a few changes to our phone package about texting and screwed something up. For the next few days, our main phone number may be intermittently offline. Please send us email, instead.

Please join our Book Club! The August conversation will address Howl's Moving Castle, a fantasy book. And as a reminder, this week's Salon discussion question is: Evil. So What?

A few scheduling adjustments:

  • The previously scheduled tweak (of starting at 11a instead of 10a on Mondays in July and August) is postponed. The martial-arts studio has delayed the program. Details TBD.
  • Cade's chemo runs through the end of July rather than the middle of July, to accommodate a series of pauses to his treatment plan. As of August, our Tuesdays should be back to normal for the first time since January.
  • We will open late on Friday, July 19, for a medical appointment.
  • The week beginning Monday, July 15, we'll experience some intermittent closures related to the arrival of Tyr. He's Jason's mustang, fresh from the wilds of Nevada. Getting him ready to join the other geldings at his boarding facility takes a bit of time, and some of that time has to come during bookstore hours.
  • The book and author festival originally planned for July 31 is postponed.

We will still be closed as planned on Friday, July 26.

Stay safe, cool, and well-read!
