Autumn is here! Are you ready?
The next few days are busy with prep for Comic Con, so our hours are changing this week. Let's cut to the chase:
- We're closing early (around 11a) on Monday, Oct. 30.
- We're open as normal on Tuesday, Oct. 31.
- We're closed on Wednesday, Nov. 1., to celebrate the Feast of All Saints. (This is a normal part of our annual calendar, as a Catholic-owned company.)
- We're closed on Thursday, Nov. 2, to pack and move part of the bookstore to DeVos Place.
- We're open (during show hours) on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, Nov. 3-5, as a vendor at Grand Rapids Comic Con. We'll be schlepping an assortment of new and used books. Can't miss!
A few other scheduling thingies:
- We're open as a Come Write In venue for National Novel Writing Month, every Tuesday in November from 8a to 2p. Participants are welcome to drop in for as long as they like to write, edit, or plan in peace. No purchase necessary.
- We're open on Saturday, Nov. 11, from 11a to 7p for the Day of Knockout Noveling. We're happy to host this major regional event for the Grand Rapids region of National Novel Writing Month.
- We're closed Thursday and Friday of Thanksgiving week.
- We will likely be fully or partially closed during Christmas week. Stay tuned!
